It’s may be easy to connect with a person or a people but it is a greater task to stay connected… I will be sharing the importance of building your network: this was a topic I shared with members of Job and Career Whatsap group October 8th 2017.
I must say it’s a privilege to be here again to share…. I hope to use my career story to inspire someone here reading. Kindly comment belong this post if you were inspired or you have any contribution to make as this will help subsequent post…
Like I normally will just summarize

Hobbies/Skills: I am passionate about helping people achieve success 💪🏻 I love traveling, helping (charity) volunteering, gisting, teaching and cooking. Most importantly, I love being a women. lol💃
To start with, it is important to say here that in your career path, a strong network of connections will make everything accelerate.👌🏽
No matter what profession you’re in, networking is the fuel that accelerates success. 🔨
Not only is it useful for learning directly from individuals you meet, but the benefits of association and growing your authority are just as powerful as networking. I can’t tell how many network that I have built that has given me a strong authority in my career path.
Hear this: it is not enough to meet people and exchange pleasantries but what have you done with them…rather what value has it added to you?!
Let me say there that:
The best networking comes from genuine relationships, not a business card exchange. 👌
– No matter whom you’re trying to build a relationship with, it is important for you to treat it or that person personal as a friend rather than just as a business contact; this will take you much further with the relationship and open more business opportunities for you.
✔️So, think about how you would approach a potential friend.
Find something you have in common with, keep it light, make jokes, and above all, show that you care. ✅
If you have not set up your own personal connections, you’ll need to divide a portion of your time to do this. Are you aware that there is treasure in people?😳 So you don’t want to miss your treasure box this time🎁 There is everything you need in People! Connect well and you will be glad you did.
We have had it over and again that your network determines your net-worth. The level at which you value people will determine the level at which you go farther in life.
It’s important to say here that people will only do business with you and refer you for better opportunity when thy know that you truly care….
The reason why some people will only do business with you once and will never want to come back is because you have not really build a good relationship…, no feedback no level of pleasantries….
For entrepreneurs, you need to know that your Clients want to be sure that it is not just about their money that you are after, but how well you have bring able to solve the problem they brought to you!
One of the ways to building a strong connection with clients and even prospects is:
Cultivate the habit of sending text, email to know their experience after meeting with you or after doing business with you (feedback ); and update them on your products and services. Let them know they you have improved because of their consumption- to give them a better satisfaction. No one will know that you are working for their good and will not be willing to stay put (connected).
I need you to know that a strong network of relationships, can enable you:
✔️contact smart friends, and learn their opinions on all issue,
✔️get information and knowledge that are difficult to obtain on your own,
✔️help the company/brand/ your business look for more potential partners, investors, sponsors, etc.
✔️Increase your income generating opportunities
Thus, go get to know your work colleague or boss very well…
*If you are an entrepreneur,
your network connections will be your early customers,😳 just like is working for me now💃🏿
Do you know that everyone you meet are a source of capital…? 😀😀. yea
Again, rather than go home, or going to a bar, you should find some inner circles…
There are many small groups which are highly relevant to your career, so you don’t want to joke with joining a social groups especially online…👩👩👧👦 like the one we are in …
You should try to integrate into these circles-learn to interact with people and get to know them personal!
Be genuinely interested in people because everything you ever need is in people!!!
However, in your quest in meeting people, find a way to add value!
Don’t always look for want to gain first! A value added individual will natural get value in return!✅
